Acupuncture Intern Position at Blossom Clinic with Liz Richards April 1, 2025
Blossom Clinic, led by Liz Richards, L.Ac., is a renowned acupuncture clinic in Portland, Oregon, specializing in women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy since 2002. With over two decades of experience, Liz has assisted thousands of families in the Pacific Northwest on their fertility journeys.
We are offering an unpaid acupuncture intern opportunity for licensed acupuncturists to gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of Liz Richards. Due to the constraints of our Type B Home Permit through the City of Portland, we are unable to have employees; therefore, this position is structured as an educational internship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing treatment rooms and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
- Observe and support acupuncture sessions, focusing on fertility and prenatal care.
- Insert and remove needles under supervision, following clinic protocols.
- Learn and apply Blossom Needle Protocols for fertility and pregnancy.
- Engage in patient education and provide resources under supervision.
- Observe and learn clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed acupuncturist in Oregon (not open to students or recent graduates without licensure).
- Strong interest in women’s health, fertility, and prenatal care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Ability to work independently within the scope of an internship.
Learning Outcomes:
- Gain practical experience in a specialized acupuncture clinic.
- Develop skills in patient interaction and holistic treatment approaches.
- Understand the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western medical practices.
- Learn and master Blossom Needle Protocols for fertility and pregnancy care.
